My Folder always opens a new Explorer window

I experience the following problem with My Folders:
when I use My Folders inside Explorer, a new Explorer windows is always opened. Unchecking the setting "Alwasy open an a new Explorer window..." does not have any effect. Holding the Shift key doesn't work either. Can you give me a tip on how to solve this?

I'm using My Folders on a Windows 2000 Server machine.

For My Folders to be able to change the location of an Explorer Window you must enable the display of the Address Bar (View menu then Toolbars popup).

The Address Bar is enabled in IE. Still it doesn't work.

In IE or Windows Explorer???

My Folders cannot change Internet Explorer windows location. Only Windows Explorer.
