Problem with My Network Places

When clicking on My Network Places in the Folders pane it does not open properly but instead just jumps to the previously opened folder. This happens with Windows 2000 and XP. Other programs such as ACDSEE (which I am trying to find a replacement for) opens fine. Anybody else have this problem?

You have to click on the + sign of "My Network Places" to expand it.

I tried that but it does not work right. When I click the + I get "Entire Network" and a listing of my servers. No Network Places are shown. When I do the same in ACDSEE I get "Entire Network", "Computers Near Me" and a list of all the Network places I've setup. This is the way it works in Excel, Word, and all the other programs that I've tried and the same under Windows 2000 or XP. This program has the potential to become a great alternative to ACDSEE if not for these bug and other quirks.
