sorry for these few days during which the site was down. The forums were hacked once again and my hosting service had to shut down the site. It took them two days to answer my mails...

There was a PHP exploit published (end of last year) that has caused a lot of phpBB based sites to be hacked recently. You need to make sure that your hosting company is using the latest version of PHP version 4, and it probably wouldn't do any harm to upgrade the version of phpBB either (2.0.16).

I am managing the phpbb version myself. I was in version 2.0.15 and did not upgrade to 2.0.16 on time and you know the rest of the story. I am now in 2.0.16.
